The A-List movie trailor
Scope
The scope of the project was to recreate a music video. We had to make it look as close to what the original looks like.
Process
For pre-production my group wrote out the script, got screenshots of the different shots in the video, labeled the time slots that each of the shots were in, figured out who our actors were, and figured out the costumes that the characters needed to wear. For production we worked with our actors to figure out when they would be able to shoot. We shot our shots in the locations. For editing I spent 3-4 days straight editing.
Extra
I learned along the way that it is important to pay attention to the little details in the shots. For the technically part, I learned that it is important to make sure there is audio. Working as a team is very important if someone is gone to have them make-up the work that they missed. I would change the day that we started filming because we were rushing at the end to get all of our shots filmed. I would keep the actors we used the same because they did a good job saying the lines the right way. The experience I would take to my next project is that I need to collaborate with my teammates more. I thought this project was a good idea because it made us focus on detail.
